LEASING AGENT

Responsible for renting out apartments and assisting residents with their needs.

Compensation : $19.00 - $21.00 Hourly

Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, Vacation and Sick, 401K

Responsibilities

• Provide potential tenants with a tour of the property or home highlighting the valuable features of the building.
• Assist in the marketing and advertising of vacancies on media / advert channels to attract potential tenants.
• Run background checks on potential tenants.
• Communicate the terms of the lease, rental rate, and period of payment to tenants.
• Conduct a survey of the property market to obtain information on competing lease rates and other trends that affect occupancy / rent.
• Ensure the proper documentation and storage of leasing files.
• Assist the leasing manager / community manager in walking apartments for ready status.
• Identify and report any state or federal law changes that effect the property lease, rules, or other guidelines used onsite.
• Ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information.
• Ensures timely completion of their work.
