Requirements :

  • Must be bilingual English / Spanish
  • Current Texas SLPA licensure
  • 6 months of full-time clinical experience
  • Pediatrics experience
  • Home Health experience preferred

Responsibilities :

  • Provides skilled speech therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders
  • Provides skilled speech therapy services / interventions in the patients home or daytime facility
  • Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his / her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
  • Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
