Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a front-end, data entry role. This position involves timely entry of prescriptions and working closely within a specialty pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system in a timely manner.

Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are processed and filled efficiently.

Utilize strong computer skills to manage data entry tasks.

Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.

Assist with insurance processes and address any issues related to prescription coverage.

Essential Skills

Pharmacy technician license is required.

Proficient in order entry and prescription fulfillment.

Strong computer skills and data entry proficiency.

Experience in retail pharmacy settings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Registered Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred.

Experience in pharmacy is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is within a closed-door pharmacy. The role requires working at a desk with a computer for 8-hour shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00 / hr.
