Griffon Aerospace, a leader in the exciting Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) industry, is seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ or C# development , with experience in embedded systems, flight software, or ground control systems for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) . This role involves the design, implementation, and testing of software that supports UAS flight control, simulation, telemetry, and operator interfaces
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Experience developing or integrating UAS simulation environments (e.g., PX4, JSBSim, Gazebo, SITL)
- Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and Agile software development
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitLab
- Experience working with sensors, payloads, or telemetry data
- Exposure to avionics systems, flight controllers, or hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing
- Active DoD clearance is a plus
