Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and Oasis proficiency for a day shift home health assignment in the West Portland, OR area.
Responsibilities
Home health setting covering West Portland, OR and surrounding areasDay shift, 8-hour shifts, typically 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PMCaseload consists of up to 6 home health visits per day, with a 30-point productivity standardVisits are 1 : 1 with patientsNo weekend or on-call requirementsUse of Epic Remote Client and Rover app for charting; Oasis documentation requiredSystem strives to group client visits to minimize driving; maximum daily travel radius is approximately 60 milesLocals accepted within 50-75 mile radius at same rateResponsibilities include evaluating, planning, and delivering occupational therapy services to home health patientsFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyBusiness casual attire or scrubs permitted, but jeans are not allowedFree parking is provided and mileage is reimbursed at IRS standard ratesFormer permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers, and must not live within 50 miles of the facilityNo block scheduling is available and floating between facilities within the state may be requiredPre-assignment modules are required and must be completed before startRequested time off must be discussed during the hiring process; minimal RTO is preferredRequirements
