We are seeking experienced Cardiology Physician Assistants for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in New York, starting Jan 2, 2026. This role offers coverage across both day and night 12-hour shifts, requiring flexibility to meet dynamic hospital coverage needs. Providers will work with advanced cardiac technologies and complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Location : New York Start Date : Jan 2, 2026 LOA : 10 days Provider Type Needed : Cardiology Physician Assistant Schedule : Two providers for 7am-7pm and two providers for 7pm-7am; 12-hour shifts with variable assignment to days or nights based on coverage gaps Responsibilities and Duties Provide care for advanced cardiac cases including ECMO, fresh heart post-ops, LVAD, Impella, and open chest patients Manage patients with Flow Tracks, Swanganz, and CVHD machines Respond to rapid changes in patient acuity and adapt to varying clinical scenarios Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary cardiac care team Ensure accurate documentation and communication for all interventions Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements Additional Information Active New York license required Cardiology board certification required Flexibility is essential; providers may be reassigned between day and night shifts based on operational needs Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
