Aramark is currently seeking a Catering Manager to support Capital One Arena. The Catering Manager leads catering solutions and special events at the location. This position will lead the catering team to facilitate special events and catering delivery requests in line with customer expectations and service standards.

COMPENSATION : The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $75,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job responsibilities include : developing and maintaining effective client and customer rapport, assisting clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs, delivering consistent quality in planning and carrying out events, developing and completing catering solutions to meet customers' needs, facilitating the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders, execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management, recruiting, scheduling, training and leading catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation, providing completed Banquet Event Orders to team to maintain quality assurance and ensure all requests are met prior to event, delivering food and labor targets, ensuring accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, and receivables, ensuring compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies.

Qualifications required include : bachelor's degree preferred or at least 3 years of related experience required, previous management or supervisory experience in special events, hospitality, or catering required, ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships required, must have excellent interpersonal communication and client relation skills, must be comfortable working in a collaborative team dynamic, complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required, requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. and ability to stand for extended periods of time, must have availability to work event-based hours including evening, weekend, and potentially holiday hours.
