Overview

New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is is adding an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals / South Brooklyn Health . The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. South Brooklyn Health accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

The Oral Maxillofacial surgeon will work part time (24 hours a week)

• Direct patient care, both outpatient clinics and dedicated OR time
• Teaching and supervising general dental medicine and oral surgery residents
• Other administrative duties as assigned
