Prodevco & Brake Press Machine Operators

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating various machines such as drill lines, anglematic, brake presses, auerosheers, burn tables, duplicators, paranas, and transfer tables. You must read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to carefully set up, select, position, secure, and operate production machinery under established procedures and guidelines. The Machine Operator will accurately and timely adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications.

Minimum Starting Salary :   $20.00 to $26.00 per hour - depending on experience. Full-time Alamo employees will receive a $1.00 / hr shift differential pay.

Days : Monday - Friday 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm

Nights :   Monday - Thursday 3 : 00pm to 1 : 30am

Weekend : Friday - Sunday 5 : 00am - 5 : 30pm - eligible for a 4hr incentive

Essential Functions :

• Rigorously inspect materials before, during, and after processing to ensure quality control of the finished product
• Read and interpret written instructions from manufacturing work orders and cut-sheets
• Ensure machines are operating properly and safely
• Provides basic maintenance to the machine(s) to properly operate
• Prepare materials to be processed and mounted coil in the hub
• Operate hoists and check periodically to plan preventative maintenance assigned to the truck production functions
• Runs full diagnosis and treatment of faults and / or situations that affect the functioning of the designated machine
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Comply with Company and OHSA policies
• Performs other duties as assigned.
