Farallon Consulting L.L.C. has a part-time opening for an experienced Technical Editor in any state where Farallon operates - WA, OR, CA. The role averages 24 hours per week and occasionally requires 40-hour weeks for coverage.

What we are looking for :

Farallon is looking for a part-time Technical Editor knowledgeable about editing, formatting, writing, cataloging, and maintaining technical and marketing documents with adherence to Farallon’s Style Guide and strict company protocols. Primary work involves reviewing, formatting, and editing a variety of documents including reports, proposals, technical memoranda, letters, cost estimate spreadsheets, procedures, manuals, and marketing and related materials. Individual consults with technical staff as needed to ensure accurate, concise, and consistent document presentation. Individual collaborates with a team of editors.

Pay Range

Our best estimate of the base salary range for this position, located in Bellevue, Washington area, is $40 / hr - $45 / hr. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Farallon reviews and updates salary ranges annually, and employees are eligible for pay increases based on individual performance. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Farallon’s total compensation package for our employee-owners.
