Maintenance Assistant

Butler Senior Community is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team! Butler Senior Community is a Springpoint Senior Living Affordable Housing Community located in Butler, NJ. We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Supervisor and provide general maintenance services for the facility and its residents, ensuring the facility is clean, free of dirt and debris and a safe and acceptable environment for the residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the common areas of the building.
• To remove and dispose of all trash and recyclables as per the established schedule.
• Respond to residents' request for service.
• To handle all cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and abide by infection control standards.
• To inspect and maintain the grounds of the facility, including general cleanup of the front walkways, side entrances, etc.
• To assist with snow removal as needed.

Education and Experience :

Comprehensive Benefits Package (Full Time) :

Full-time : 40 hours / week, Monday Friday (8am 4 : 30pm)

Pay Range : $18 - $20 / hour
