Position Summary
Develop and implement educational and recreational activities at assigned Playground Recreation Program sites; ensure the safety and physical well-being of the children and provide responsible support to higher level staff.
This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing.
This is an unclassified, at-will position designated as part-time and temporary, with a maximum term of two (2) years from the date of hire. Employment will automatically conclude two (2) years from the date of hire in accordance with City policy.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED and supplemented by forty-eight (48) credit hours from an accredited college or university to include fifteen (15) non-remedial hours in Math and English.
Working Conditions
Environmental:
Classroom and outdoor environments; exposure to communicable diseases and noise.
Physical:
Essential and supplemental functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for waling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time; moderate or light lifting.
