About The Position

Job Description :

A dynamic and experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist is sought for a full-time leadership opportunity as Medical Director of a Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team in West Michigan. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on patients, families, and the broader community through clinical leadership and program development.

Key Responsibilities :

Clinical Leadership : Lead and oversee the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line, ensuring delivery of high-quality care for complex maternal fetal cases.

Patient Care : Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for high-risk pregnancies, including diagnostic, consultative, and management services. Coordinate closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other subspecialists.

Program Development : Collaborate with administrative and clinical leadership to grow and improve the Maternal Fetal Medicine program. Responsible for achieving goals in quality, service, colleague engagement, stewardship, and financial performance across assigned offices and programs.

Education & Mentorship : Guide and mentor medical students and residents within the system.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Credentials Required :

Board Certified in OB / GYN

Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine

MI license (or willing to obtain)

DEA (or willing to obtain)

BLS, ACLS (or willing to obtain)

Clean malpractice

Minimum of 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine medical practice experience

2+ years of work experience in a leadership role or has completed training specific skills to work in the position
