Employment Type : Locum Tenens Physician (Per Diem)

Healthcare Setting : Surgical Center – Anesthesia Unit

Patient Encounters per Shift : 6-8

Physician Qualifications

Active Florida Physician (MD) license required

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology

Minimum 1 year of clinical anesthesiology experience

Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications

Proficient in general anesthesia for adult patients

Skilled in managing ventilation and acute volume / blood pressure issues

Fellowship in Anesthesiology preferred

Credentialing completed within 3 days

Anesthesiologist Responsibilities

Deliver general anesthesia care for adult surgical patients in a clinical setting

Conduct comprehensive pre-operative evaluations and post-operative assessments

Manage intraoperative ventilation and acute hemodynamic issues

Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical and nursing teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all anesthesia services provided
