Police Officer Candidate Pool

Faulkner University is seeking qualified individuals to apply for the Police Officer Candidate Pool . A Police Officer will serve as entry-level personnel for the Faulkner University Police Department (FPD). Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

These are full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time, 12-month positions.

Applications will be accepted continuously throughout the year.

Summary of Duties :

• Conduct foot patrols and provide a security presence for buildings / property owned and operated by the university
• Respond to calls for service from students, staff, faculty and visitors
• Conduct accident reports, accident investigations, traffic enforcement
• Secure buildings as required by operating procedure
• Enforce all University policies and procedures, state laws and local municipal ordinances
• Complete reports, documents and forms
