Schedule : Full Time, Night Shift, 3x12-Hour Shifts / Week

Competitive Pay : $70.00 / Hour

Shift Differentials for Night, Weekend, and Additional Shifts Available

Location : SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Jefferson City

Your Role :

As a Traveling Respiratory Therapist, you will evaluate and care for patients requiring respiratory therapy. You will administer prescribed treatments while ensuring top-notch patient care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify appropriate treatments and develop individualized care plans based on patient diagnoses.
• Deliver and monitor respiratory care services according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans, maintaining accurate records and effectively communicating patient conditions.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory health, treatment options, and available community resources.
• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of respiratory equipment, contributing to departmental inventory management.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and participate in rapid response situations.
• Maintain a safe and alert working environment while performing additional duties as required.
