POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Legal Affairs Associate will be part of the Legal Department and will interact with members of all of the different business units of Bain Capital.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the following tasks :

• Work closely with internal legal team and external legal advisors on a full range of legal issues facing Bain Capitals holding company its investment advisers affiliated funds and portfolio companies.
• Support cross-functional teams by providing legal operational guidance enhancing process efficiency managing transactional documentation and stakeholder coordination and contributing to corporate governance functions such as drafting resolutions preparing board materials and overseeing quarterly and annual obligations.
• Oversee entity management manage formations dissolutions name changes structure chart and board updates.
• Own the complete KYC lifecycle ensuring timely coordination of required documentation authentication steps and counterparty communication.
• Maintain legal and corporate records.
• Work with outside counsel to coordinate signature pages and organize deal transaction documents and closing binders.
• Contribute to the tracking drafting and submission of regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions as needed.
• May be requested to perform other duties not mentioned above.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Compensation :

Expected Annual Base Salary $95000 - $105000

Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role function level experience qualifications and geographic addition to a competitive base salary this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact team and firm performance.
