About the Role:

We are seeking a Clinical Veterinarian responsible for animal health care at our facility. You will assist Study Coordinators and Study Directors in conducting studies, collecting samples, preparing test articles, and performing surgical and medical procedures. Additionally, you will supervise the diagnosis and treatment of sick animals and may oversee quarantine and acquisition procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and treat sick animals while supervising surgical procedures, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Conduct routine health surveillance, including laboratory tests and sample collection.
• Train technicians and contribute to the development of the Animal Care and Use program.
• Ensure compliance with the Animal Welfare Act and maintain sterile surgical environments.
• Participate in research activities, ensuring accurate data collection and the use of advanced scientific equipment.
• Assist in maintaining surgical facilities and calibrating scientific equipment.
• Engage in weekend duties and perform other assigned tasks.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• DVM required, with an active veterinary license in at least one US state (Missouri license must be obtained within one year).
• Experience with FDA GLP is preferred but not mandatory.
• Non-AVMA accredited veterinary school graduates must possess ECFVG certification.
• Basic computer skills necessary for daily tasks.
