Ultrasound Technologist (Evening Shift)
Location : Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), Bethesda, MD
Schedule : Monday – Friday | 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM Company : US Got People (USGP)
USGP is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to support our military service members, veterans, and their families at Walter Reed NCR. This is a meaningful opportunity to serve those who serve our nation.

Qualifications
Education : Completion of an Ultrasound education program approved by ARDMSCertification :Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)CPR (BLS) CertificationExperience :
Minimum of 2 years of post-training ultrasound experienceAt least 1 year in a hospital settingNote : Graduates who completed clinical training at WRNMMC may qualify under an entry-level contract exemptionLicensure : Valid, unrestricted license in at least one S. state or territoryAdditional Requirements
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physicsProficient in general, vascular, and Doppler ultrasound proceduresExperience with PACS and MHS Genesis (Cerner) systemsCompliance with facility requirements including flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (unless exempt), and fit testingImmunization Requirements (Current or Obtainable)

Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to :Abdomen, pelvis, obstetric (1st–3rd trimester), neonatal, vascular, thyroid, scrotal, and transplant imagingAssist in interventional procedures in radiology, OR, and specialty clinicsUse and manage PACS and MHS Genesis (Cerner) systemsRespond to STAT and routine imaging orders; document findings using IPASSParticipate in staff training, competency assessments, and emergency protocolsMentor student technologists and resident physiciansMaintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and all WRNMMC protocolsCollaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff for patient care coordinationIdeal Candidate
