Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Billing Specialist to join our remote team. This role involves reviewing provider bills for accuracy, entering and posting charges in the billing system, and repricing bills based on provider contracts—all while working from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and organize digital provider bills and documentation.
• Verify clean claims and enter charges into the billing system to generate HCFA 1500 forms.
• Reprice provider bills according to contracts and submit for approval and payment.
• Assist in submitting therapy bills to insurance payors weekly.
• Generate reports to track receipt of provider bills and follow up on missing documentation.
• Post batched payments in billing software.
• Respond to inquiries from provider partners and clients via email and phone.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
