[job_card.job_description]Nursing positions will contribute to providing nursing coverage (on a 24 / 7 basis) for facility on assigned shift. You will be responsible for dispensing physician ordered medication; performing assessments; responding to emergency situations. Responsible for communicating concerns with medical provider / Director of Nursing / Administration. You will work as part of our incredible medical team to ensure the best medical care possible. Lower acuity No stress or pressure of policies driven by reimbursements Develop a rapport and build long-term relationships with residents / families due to infrequent admissions / discharges. At Misericordia Home we provide care to over 600 children and adults with mild to profound developmental disabilities, some of whom also have physical disabilities and medical issues. On our 37-acre campus in the Northside of Chicago, we offer different programs and residential options for our residents.
Qualifications :
- LPN, RN, BSN
- Active Illinois Nursing License
- Good standing with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven initiative, responsibility, and demonstrated ability to work with a team
- Demonstrated ability to work with residents, families and staff
