Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network / System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning and coordinating software releases across multiple products and platforms
Ensure that releases are delivered on time, with high quality, and minimal disruption, while balancing business priorities, technical constraints, and operational readiness
Serve as the central point of coordination between engineering, QA, operations, product management, and business stakeholders
Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed release plans, schedules, and go‑live criteria
Coordinate release activities across multiple teams, environments, and deployment streams
Manage dependencies, risks, and issues impacting release timelines and quality
Facilitate release readiness reviews and go/no‑go decision meetings
Provide clear, timely status updates on release progress, risks, and outcomes to technical teams and business stakeholders
Enforce management change and release governance standards
Maintain release documentation and process playbooks
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Track and report release metrics
Identify trends and areas for automation and process improvement

Requirements:

5 years of experience in software delivery, release management, or related roles
ITIL 4 Foundations certification
Working knowledge and experience in Service Delivery tools, for Change Management and Problem Management, particularly ITSM Remedy or ServiceNow
Strong competence in Microsoft Office apps, specifically Excel, plus SharePoint
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to manage risk, ambiguity, and competing priorities

Desired skills:

ITIL V3 Foundations certification
Networking basics
Project Management & Release Management
Proven team player who can work comfortably in a multicultural & international environment
Proven ability to work independently, multi-task and effectively work in a complex environment with a global team structure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong influencer, facilitator, and collaborator
Detail oriented and organized
Pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible, results driven with attention to detail
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Motivation to achieve results and the ability to quickly integrate into teams
Project Management experience
Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) knowledge
Jira experience
Proven team player who can work comfortably in a multicultural & international environment
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Pay range: $48.89 - $56.89
