Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team! This is an office-based leadership role responsible for managing our Commercial Roll- up Door (and accompanying scopes) construction projects from take-off and bid phase to contract award, material procurement, installation to closeout. This role focuses on financial performance, communication, scheduling, margin control and overall client experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader and strategic problem-solver who can manage complex projects, build lasting client relationships, and guide internal teams to successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities : Project Leadership & Execution; Client & Stakeholder Management; Budgeting & Cost Control; Scheduling & Operations; Team Leadership; Business Development; Pre-Construction bidding; Closeout
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and staffing
- Oversee contracts, project costs and material procurement
- Ensure contractual compliance with plans, specifications, safety standards, and company procedures
- Identify and oversee risk management
- Serve as primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
- Lead owner / architect / contractor meetings and provide regular reporting
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Consult with Field Superintendent to provide field / product and application expertise
- Build trusted client relationships and deliver exceptional service
- Anticipate needs and drive solutions that support long-term partnerships
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts
- Drive projects to meet or exceed profit and margin targets
- Work closely with field teams for project execution
- Work with accounting to initiate project invoicing
- Lead, mentor, and develop office support staff
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and high performance
- Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities for repeat and new business
- Provide turnover documentation, warranties, and final reconciliations
- Ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business or Project Management (or equivalent experience)5+ years of administrative commercial construction project management experienceProficient in management of contracts, scheduling, and budget creation / managementExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitudeProficient in plan review and project take-offsStrong work ethicExperience managing large or complex commercial projectsExperience in Commercial Roll-up Doors project managementWhat We Offer
