Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a  Senior Accountant  to join their growing team. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must reside in the Atlanta area  for occasional in-person meetings and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in  public accounting  and experience managing complex financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Manage month-end and year-end close processes

Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis

Assist with audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Identify process improvements and implement best practices

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)

3+ years of experience in public accounting

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
