SEC capabilities expand beyond tradition manufacturing to further include turnkey engineering services, truck-based service technicians, manufacturer parts, and power generation equipment. / ph3Essential Duties Responsibilities : / h3ulliReads shop notes, general arrangement and process flow diagrams and drawings. / liliReads measuring devices such as tape measures, rulers and pressure gauges. / liliAssembles and installs skid mounted components such as pumps, vessels, pipe, pipe supports, structural supports, belts, pulleys and machine guards. / liliPerforms pneumatic and mechanical tests on assembled components. / liliDisassembles components to replace defective parts or to prepare them for shipping. / liliOperates a variety of portable hand, electric and air powered tools such as impact wrenches, torque wrenches, combination wrenches, sockets, ratchets, band saw and grinders. / liliOperates stationary tools such as bench grinder, iron worker, drill press and chop saw. / liliOperates lifting equipment such as overhead cranes and jib cranes. / liliRecords serial numbers and other information as required in ITP (inspection test plan). / liliReports problems to line supervisor and actively participates in resolution. / liliPerform job duties in a safe manner and according to company safety procedures. / liliReports potentially unsafe equipment and safety hazards to supervisor for immediate resolution. / liliUnderstands and follows oral and written instructions. / liliEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments and workers. / liliActively participates in the development of Assembler I and other employees. / liliPerforms the above and other duties as required with minimal supervision. / li / ulh3Required Education or Minimum Level : / h3ulliHigh school education (GED) / li / ulh3Experience : / h3ulli0-2 Years experience in compression related assembly or field environment. / li / ulh3Skills : / h3ulliMechanical aptitude. / liliAbility to read tape measures and rulers in increments of 1 / 16 / liliBasic mathematic ability to add and subtract fractions, decimals and whole numbers. / liliMust have basic knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the assembly department. / li / ulh3Working Conditions : / h3pThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. / pulliLifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally / liliWalking and standing frequently / liliExposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting / liliWorks in industrial / manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment / li / ul / div
