Machine Learning Engineering Manager

A company is looking for a Manager II, Machine Learning-Search.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the search backend team, focusing on indexing, document ranking, personalization, and infrastructure efficiency

Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance user search experience and drive innovative applications of NLP and Vision Models

Mentor team members and provide visibility into the team's impact to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience managing a machine learning-based engineering team of 5 or more

7+ years of software development experience

Experience with large-scale production search, recommendation, or ads systems utilizing machine learning

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience

Applied machine learning experience preferred; knowledge in recommendation systems, NLP, and computer vision is a plus
