About the Role :

As a Reading Tutor at Braintrust Tutors, youll work with elementary school students in a school setting to strengthen their reading comprehension, fluency, and critical thinking skills. Using our structured intervention programs and materials, youll deliver consistent, high-impact tutoring that meets each student where they are.

Opportunity Details (subject to change) :

Start Date : Immediate Start (Mid December)

Expected Duration : 12 Weeks

Pay Rate : $60 / Hour

Schedule :

8 : 00am-2 : 00pm ET, M / W / TH

To be considered interested applicants must be available for entire schedule.

PETS Status (Personnel Eligibility Tracking System NYC) : Must be PETS cleared or willing to obtain PETS clearance via fingerprinting process (Braintrust Tutors will facilitate and pay).

What You Will Do :

• Provide small-group in-person tutoring in reading for students
• Implement Braintrusts intervention programs as designed, using all materials with fidelity
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performance
• Collaborate with the Braintrust Operations team and school staff to support student growth
• Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that promotes focus and confidence
• Follow school-site procedures and policies while maintaining a professional and dependable presence
• Use provided assessments and progress monitoring tools for understanding to guide instruction
• Manage time effectively during sessions to complete all planned instructional activities
