Locum Gastroenterologist (MD / DO)

We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist for a 25-day locum tenens assignment in Colorado, starting Dec 7, 2025. This opportunity features 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a), including weekends, with ongoing scheduling into 2025. The role involves a range of gastroenterology procedures and acute GI evaluations in a dynamic clinical setting. Job Details Location : Colorado Start Date : Dec 7, 2025 LOA : 25 days Provider Type Needed : Gastroenterologist Schedule : 24-hour call (7a-7a), Monday through Sunday; weekends required; 5-7 days per month, ongoing into 2025 Responsibilities and Duties Perform scoping procedures Conduct ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) Perform EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) Manage endoscopy cases Evaluate and treat GI bleeding Assess and manage various gastrointestinal problems Additional Information Colorado license or LOQ required Must have completed gastroenterology fellowship Board certification in Gastroenterology required Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required Clean malpractice history required EMR training required All shifts end the following morning at 7a Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
