Respiratory Care Practitioner

Description

Provide therapeutic / diagnostic modalities, under physician's direction, and in accordance with hospital policies and practice standards. Plays a key role in the educational process for the quality of respiratory care and cardiology services provided.

Required Qualifications :

Coursework / Training : Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program.

Upon hire : California Respiratory Care Practitioner License

Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Within 90 days of hire National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association

Within 90 days of hire National Provider PALS - American Heart Association

Practical clinical experience in an acute and / or skilled hospital setting. New graduates may be accepted with appropriate preceptor and in accordance with hospital business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications :

• 1 year practical experience as a RCP in an acute and / or skilled hospital setting.
