The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Bilingual Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Council Bluffs, IA!
What is a community health center (FQHC)?
The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.
With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.
Role Details :
- Clinic Hours : Mon-Thurs : 8am-7pm; Fri : 8am - 5pm; Sat : 8am-12pm; will discuss schedule during interview. Call schedule rotated weekly amongst provider team and is very light
- Sees on average 8-16 patients per day
- Appointment types : 20-minute time slots
- Provider team includes : 1 MD, 3 PA, 4.2 NP, .5 RN, 1.5 MA
- EHR : Ochin Epic
- In Iowa, Nurse Practitioners can practice independently with full practice authority.
