Job Summary and Qualifications

The Occupational Therapist will provide exceptional, patient-centered care by managing the full scope of occupational therapy for assigned patients, working closely with physicians and the patient care team. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, collaborating on individualized care plans, and focusing on achieving patient goals and enhancing their experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and provide treatment interventions aligned with professional guidelines.
• Assess therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status, contributing to the patient's overall care plan.
• Engage in skilled interaction with patients, utilizing effective techniques to facilitate functional improvements.
• Monitor and document patients' responses to treatment and any changes in their conditions.
• Communicate effectively with the treatment team, patients, and their families about care requirements.
• Manage caseload prioritization and coordinate assignments within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for Registered Occupational Therapists.
• Current state license in the location of practice.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation with proof of liability insurance.
