Your Responsibilities Include :

• Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
• Facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

Recruitment Incentives : Newly appointed Officers may receive up to $15,000 per year for locations such as Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New York, North Dakota, Vermont, and Washington for a three-year service commitment.

The annual base salary for newly appointed officers ranges from $40,332 to $109,952, based on experience and qualifications. Locality pay will also apply. Fully trained Officers can earn additional overtime pay of up to $45,000 per year. This position is a career ladder, allowing for promotions through levels GS-5 to GS-12 based on performance and experience.

Note : Previous law enforcement or military law enforcement experience may qualify candidates for GS-9 level positions.

Additional Requirements :

Formal Training : Selected candidates will undergo two weeks of paid pre-academy orientation followed by a 101-day training program at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA.
