Overview :

Sentara Medical Group is seeking to hire an individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant.

This is a part-time Float Pool position which will require travel in the Peninsula.

Primary work locations will be Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown. Travel to Williamsburg, Gloucester, King & Queen as needed.

Differential pay is provided for the travel and flexibility that is needed for this role.

Overview

Perform patient care and administrative / clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction / supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP / PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)
