Float : Traveler may be requested to float

Qualifications :

Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission

BLS & ACLS required

1-2+ years of PCU / Stepdown experience preferred

EMR : Cerner experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities :

Provide specialized nursing care to progressive care / stepdown patients

Manage cardiac, respiratory, and higher-acuity medical / surgical cases

Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care

Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system

Float to other units as needed based on facility needs
