[job_card.job_description]Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills Experience with process qualification equipment startup and manufacturing support Proficiency in JMP Minitab and / or Power BI Hands-on experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DoE) Ability to design and execute experiments and analyze large data sets Excellent communication organization and technical leadership skills Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams Six Sigma methodologies and tools (DMAIC variability reduction) Experience with fiber optic or high-speed cable manufacturing Familiarity with TRIZ KT-PA MEE or similar problem-solving frameworks Experience developing SOPs job aids and training documentation Support equipment startup and process qualification through hands-on testing and data collection Design execute and analyze experiments to improve line performance and product quality Identify root causes of manufacturing issues and implement process improvements Apply SPC DoE and Six Sigma methods to reduce variability defects and improve throughput Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology deployment and standard work development Ensure safe work practices and compliance with manufacturing standards Bachelors degree in Chemical Mechanical Materials or Industrial Engineering Experience completing projects in a manufacturing environment Strong data analysis visualization and decision-making capabilities Ability to manage changing priorities and multitask effectively Self-starter with strong collaboration and influencing skills
Job Title : Process Engineer II
Location : Newton NC / 100% Onsite
Duration : 10 Months
Job Type : Contract
Maximum Submissions per Supplier : 3
Note : Immigration Status : Must be eligible to work in the US for a minimum of 18 months. Local candidates are preferred but not required. Interview Process : Interviews will be held via Teams with 2 or 3 engineering leaders. For local candidates selected an on-site interview may be requested before finalizing decision. Work Schedule : Typical 40 hours per week. May require working weekends / holidays or longer days to support project schedule.
