CNC Machinist

Job Title : CNC Machinist

Location : Fairport, NY

Shifts Available :

2nd Shift : Monday – Thursday, 4 : 30 PM – 3 : 00 AM

Pay : $22.00 – $32.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Core Duties & Responsibilities :

Set up and operate CNC mill and lathe machines

Perform first-piece and in-process inspections

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Utilize micrometers, calipers, and gauges for precision measurement

Operate with minimal supervision and follow detailed work instructions

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications :

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience (set-up required)

Proficient with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and measurement tools

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

Dependability and strong attendance

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Regular use of hands and arms for machine operation

Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs

Ability to read fine measurements and part features
