Rotating Machinery Subject Matter Expert

A company is looking for a Rotating Machinery SME to oversee engineering efforts and collaborate with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee design and manufacturing processes of large nuclear fluid pumps, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications

Provide technical oversight to partners and subcontractors, guiding mechanical system design development

Coordinate reviews of analyses, integrating results into overall design delivery while ensuring compliance with relevant design codes and standards

Key Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university

15+ years of direct experience with proven skills in mechanical systems

Minimum of 5 years of experience with pumps and rotating machinery, especially in large vertical pump design and manufacture

Extensive experience across the hardware lifecycle, from concept to execution

Proven supplier / contractor coordination and project management experience
