Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Rounds

As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Rounds in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to incidents as needed. Pay Rate : $15.91 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas throughout the commercial real estate location, reporting any unusual conditions or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document observations, incidents, and / or activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
  • Collaborate with building management and / or local law enforcement as needed to address security-related incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times while on patrol to help to deter potential issues and maintain a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
