Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Description

Responsible for ensuring the high quality of Nok Nok’s market-leading strong authentication products. The Nok Nok offerings include a cloud platform, server software, SDKs for Android, iOS and Web applications as well as an SDK for server side integration. Provide management and oversight to a team distributed across US, India and Armenia. Responsible for the project management, supervision, and coordination of software testing for all product releases. Ensure QA team adheres strictly to the Nok Nok Agile software development life cycle process, including requirements review and evaluation, detailed test plan and test case development and execution, and product readiness. Ensure the completion and archiving of associated quality records. Suggest improvements to methods, procedures and efficiencies that lead to product improvements and superior solutions. Mentor and provide guidance to QA team as well as ensure staff has appropriate training, skill levels, and expertise. Prepare activity, progress and status reports regarding software QA activities for review. Increase test coverage using automation tools on an on-going basis to enhance our CI / CD processes. Work closely with peer development and product management teams. Work cross functionally to triage field-reported. This position has two direct reports.

Experience and Special Requirements : Utilizing QA leadership / management experience; working in the software QA area; Jira; testing complex, multi-tenant, and multi-component products; API testing or integration; basic UNIX / Linux System Administration; working knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases; CD using Kubernetes and Docker; cloud platform (AWS / GCP); solving complex test problems and performing troubleshooting; automated load / stress and performance testing and tools such as JMeter; and scripting and / or programming experience (Java, Python, JavaScript).

Bachelors's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering or related field. 3 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.

Annual salary is $183,726
