Assembler/Metal Hanger
HOURS: Monday - Friday 6 PM - 2:30 PM
PAY: $17/hour

This position involves handling and maneuvering metal sheets to frame cargo trailers. Candidates must be proficient in using pneumatic nail guns and various hand tools. The role requires the ability to safely lift and position metal sheets overhead (up to 50 lbs) during roof assembly, as well as frame the interior of trailers with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Frame Assembly: Laying out, fitting, drilling, and bolting metal frames and supports.
  • Sheeting Installation: Attaching metal or plywood sheeting to the frame, often using screws or rivets.
  • Sealing & Insulation: Applying sealants to joints and potentially installing insulation.
  • Tool Usage: Operating pneumatic/hydraulic tools, drills, saws, and hand tools.
  • Quality Control: Checking for accuracy and proper fit, ensuring standards are met.
  • Maintenance: Keeping the work area and tools clean and in good working order.

Key Skills Needed
  • MUST be Bilingual!
  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
  • Bilingual is a PLUS!
  • Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Forklift experience is a PLUS!
  • Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction processes (helpful).
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
