Duties
Perform various functions related to testing & QA services for web & non?web based environments; create and enhance test automation framework that supports DevOps; develop testing strategies, automation approaches and contribute to establishing standards for the department; end?to?end ownership of the testing processes & frameworks for our service?oriented architecture; develop, support, train, and / or mentor other team members in the use of the automation framework to develop test automation; estimate / size the activities and assign to the team; manage the code versioning and merge requests, responsible for the automation delivery to the project team; code review, approve and manage the merge requests; set up and CI / CD DevOps setup for the native mobile application; perform status reporting and sprint planning; define and ensure coding standards and best practices for the team; and manage the code versioning and merge requests.
Requirements
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post?baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post?baccalaureate work experience in a related occupation, or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; and three years of work experience in job offered or three years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following : Test automation experience in technology?based engineering; experience with development or test automation tools / frameworks including :
Experience with Selenium, Appium, Cucumber & in TestNG framework Junit, RFT, HP UFT frameworks to recommend updates / enhancements as needed; DevOps / CI tools including Bamboo, GIT, GIT Lab, and Maven; and JIRA Agile management tool. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
