Field Service Engineer Bilingual (Korean / English)

Position : Field Service Engineer (Full-Time, Bilingual)

Salary : $60,000 $75,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Working Hours : 812 hours per day, Monday to Sunday (1 day off per week)

Position Summary

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for on-site equipment maintenance and production support for automation logistics systems. This role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring stable operation of customer equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation logistics equipment at customer sites
  • Provide production support to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
  • Conduct field investigations and propose technical solutions for recurring problems
  • Support PLC programming, wiring, and system adjustments related to equipment maintenance
  • Optimize equipment performance through inspections, adjustments, and upgrades
  • Document maintenance activities, service reports, and corrective actions
  • Communicate with on-site customer teams and coordinate with engineering teams in Korea

    • Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Engineering (preferred)
  • 1+ year of automation equipment maintenance or installation experience (3+ years for senior-level consideration)
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (intermediate or higher in both speaking and reading)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills (customer-facing and internal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Flexible availability to work overtime and weekends
  • Physically able to perform on-site duties (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs)
  • Must live in, or be willing to relocate to, Ohio or Tennessee
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
