Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support the CQV process for mold rebuilds and / or qualifications.
• Provide Quality Manager with reliable statistical data in order to approve / disprove the qualification.
• Support Quality Supervisor with additional trending and data analysis needs in order to provide Quality Manager and / or Product Development detailed information regarding recurrent mold problems.
• Gather and assemble all pertinent mold transfer information for molds leaving this location.
• Maintain calibration procedures.
• Maintain and ensure an accurate measuring and testing system.
• Responsible for programming and / or troubleshooting lab equipment.
• Investigate and / or implement new quality measuring and testing systems for the lab.
• Assist in team problem solving with statistical data and backup information as necessary.
• Use data to drive continuous improvement.
• Assist Quality Manager with investigations for root cause and corrective action.
• Design, lead, and participate in training activities for production staff in the effort to improve quality.
• Disposition all rejected product daily, as backup to the Quality Supervisor.
• Attend daily production meeting to communicate current molding issues and rejections, as backup to the Quality Supervisor.
• Provide monthly statistical reports as requested.
• Audit 5S implementation and effectiveness in the plant.
• Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements.
