Description

Madison area leading provider of low voltage services in southern Wisconsin, specializing in the design and implementation of fire alarm, security, nurse call, access controls, and audio-video systems. A Low Voltage Electrician plays a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems operating at low voltage levels.

Job Responsibilities :

Installation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting :

Install electrical wiring and equipment according to building plans, and other specifications.

Maintain records of all work performed, documenting maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Troubleshoot malfunctions when systems aren’t working correctly. (repair, replace parts or upgrades, etc.)

Test systems to verify safety and efficiency by measuring voltage, resistance, and amperage levels.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1-3 years’ experience in electrical knowledge and understanding of low-voltage systems and a desire to constantly improve skills and learn new things.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Clean driving record, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with weather / road conditions.

Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50 lbs.

Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.

Successful completion of a pre-employment screening

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $72800.00 / yr.
