Nights with 8 and 12-hour shifts, every third weekend rotation and holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you'll provide care for a diverse and complex patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.A high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), our unit provides exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care.
What You'll Do :
Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and compassionate care.Apply clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking to support optimal outcomes.Contribute to a positive patient experience across the continuum of care.Major Responsibilities :
Assess patient needs, implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the plan of care.Recognize changes in patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.Implement strategies to promote patient safety and readiness to learn.Coordinate discharge planning utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.Evaluate patient and unit outcomes, participating in shared governance initiatives.Communicate effectively and promote collaborative team dynamics.Identify safety threats and implement corrective actions when necessary.Participate in quality improvement initiatives for better patient care.Engage in professional development and mentoring opportunities.Demonstrate age-specific care understanding across patient populations.Qualifications :
Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Completion of an accredited nursing program is essential.1 year of clinical nursing experience typically required.Skills and Abilities :
