Position Qualifications (minimum) :

• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• An associates or bachelors degree in related field or an Electrical Journeymans License.
• Strong computer skills, to include Microsoft office products and Bluebeam, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Working knowledge of the National Electric Code and electrical theory.
• Proficient skills in reading construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and data sheets.
• Experience in layout of electrical equipment and systems, including design / build concepts such as electrical one-lines and feeder / branch circuit analysis.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, to include excellent verbal and written communication.
• Problem-solving capabilities to identify and resolve problems in an analytical and timely matter, by skillfully analyzing and providing alternative solutions.
• Effective time management through proper planning, organization, and ability to handle multiple initiatives at the same time.
• Be a team leader, balancing both individual and team responsibilities, with the overall success of the bid prioritized.
• Self-motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in InPwrs business strategies.
• Ability to travel scheduled or unscheduled on a limited basis.

Summary :

The Estimator will analyze construction blueprints to determine the quantity and cost of materials and fixtures needed as well as the amount of labor required to complete each bid and work with the customers to receive contracts. The estimator will also help implement measures to increase the Companys effectiveness and efficiency.

Working / Environment / Physical Demandsto successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Employees in this position must be physically able to efficiently perform the essential functions of the position.
