Position Overview :

  • Location : Near Greenbelt, MD
  • Start Date : ASAP
  • End Date : Ongoing
  • Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
  • EMR System : Epic

Practice Details :

  • Practice Setting : This role focuses exclusively on outpatient care, allowing you to work in a stable, controlled environment with no inpatient responsibilities.
  • Shifts and Coverage :

    • Patient Load : Expect to see 10-15 patients per shift, providing comprehensive gastroenterological care.

  • Holidays : Coverage is required for major holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certification : Must be board-certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Fellowship : Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship is required.
  • Certifications : ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
  • Licensing : Must be licensed in Maryland or hold an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license. Reimbursement for licensing costs is available.
  • Privileges : Hospital or surgery center privileges are required, with temporary privileges available to expedite the process.
  • Credentialing Timeframe : Estimated at 60 days.
