Position Summary :
The Quality Control Technician plays a key role in ensuring that Cascade Systems Technologys products meet the highest quality standards. This position supports manufacturing operations through detailed inspection, testing, and documentation of assemblies and components.
What Youll Do :
- Inspect surface mount and through-hole assemblies to IPC-A-610 Class II & III standards.
- Review and interpret assembly drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
- Operate and program Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and X-ray equipment.
- Perform first article inspections and document results in the quality database.
- Identify and communicate quality issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company policies and ESD procedures.
- Participate in production meetings and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
- Follow all safety requirements, promptly reporting potential hazards or incidents.
What You Bring :
High school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.Experience in quality control within a manufacturing or electronic assembly environment.Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards and the AOI process.Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.Proficiency using basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers, VOM).Strong attention to detail and communication skills.Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Eligibility to work under ITAR requirements (must not be on any federal watch list).Willingness to learn and follow ISO 9000 and Lean manufacturing processes.Physical Requirements :
Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.Fine visual and manual dexterity to inspect small components and color distinctions.Why Join CST :
