[job_card.job_description]Work in a high-volume Emergency Department with 34 beds and 32 vertical care areas Cares for all ages with diagnoses including trauma stabilization, mental health crises, and complex medical emergencies Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 4 Uses Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors 12-hour day shifts from 0700 to 1900, every other weekend required Holiday coverage required for 75% of holidays Floating required within the region to multiple facilities, including potential mid-shift floating No on-call requirements Responsibilities include stabilization of trauma cases, management of high acuity mental health and addiction presentations, and a variety of acute medical emergencies Works with a team consisting of CNAs, a receptionist, and charge nurse support Department provides a collaborative and team-focused culture Initial orientation includes hospital onboarding and two departmental training days Scrub color is navy Free parking is available First-time travelers may be considered, though preference is given to those with previous travel experience Up to 6 days of requested time off (excluding holidays) can be approved, with additional time to be added to the contract for missed hours Active NC or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI TNCC certification is preferred Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, PIV starts, TNK / TPA administration, and conscious sedation Experience caring for both adult and pediatric ED populations Epic EMR experience preferred Permanent home address must be at least 50 miles from the facility High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
