    • Schedule Details :

  • Self-Scheduled
  • Shift : 3rd Shift (7pm-7 : 30am)
  • FTE : 0.9 (12-hour shifts)
  • 2 Mondays & 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule
  • 1 Weekend per 6-week schedule
  • 2 Holidays (1 Summer & 1 Winter)
  • Training in ACLS, NIH, IV Ultrasound, and Charge RN responsibilities.

You will rotate through ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. This dynamic position is ideal for expanding your clinical skills.

    What You'll Do :

  • Float between Med / Surg, Telemetry, ED Boarding, and ICU support units.
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adapt quickly to different workflows while maintaining excellence in clinical care.

    • What We're Looking For :

  • Experience : Minimum 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience, with 2 years preferred .
  • Flexibility : Availability for required shifts as per 6-week schedule.

    • Training & Skills :

  • RNs will receive training in :
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
  • IV Ultrasound .
  • Charge Nurse Cross-Training to build leadership skills.

    Licenses & Certifications :

    Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).

    Degrees : Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.

    Required Functional Experience : Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Demonstrates the ability to provide holistic patient care and recognize needs for unplanned interventions.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make critical, independent decisions and effectively prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
